HULM Solutions Business Suite

Worked on the backend for HULM's multi-tenant business suite, a cloud Business OS for SMEs in retail, FMCG, and telecom-style operations. Companies register, get provisioned through a BOP control plane, land in isolated MySQL schemas, then run modular apps: POS, catalog, inventory, purchase/GRN, orders, invoices, payments, promotions, UMS, and accounting. Most of my time sat in the platform and tenancy layer. BOP keeps company metadata, app instances, and datasource templates; each company gets its own schema instead of sharing one noisy database. The stack is layered (API Gateway, application apps, domain services, then BOP), with Keycloak handling identity and JWTs across the suite. On the domain side I contributed across the commerce modules: catalog and stock, procurement, orders, invoicing and payments, promotions, parties, user management, and accounting. Tax compliance is part of that stack too, with ZATCA (Saudi Arabia) and FBR (Pakistan) paths for e-invoicing and VAT where those markets need them. For production sanity we put observability in early: correlation IDs (including async hops), Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and OpenTelemetry traces into Jaeger so you can follow a request from Gateway through App and Service to BOP. I also helped shape how multi-branch vs subsidiary should work, and the longer-term Item + wallet/loyalty catalog direction, so those features extend the platform instead of forcing a rewrite.
